About the provider
The programme is riding pedagogy focused on sensory development, where the point is trust and real experiences rather than riding itself, with time for contact between child and pony. 1 Children learn playfully how to handle a pony correctly, including grooming it, saddling it and walking it by hand. 4 The club says its approach suits shy children, very energetic children and children with support needs, because horses react calmly and without judgement. 5 6
